This 14th century build had a doorway of a previous external wall with an influx of damp problems that we restored to excellent and safe standing.
With a mixture of salvageable original stone and suitably sourced replacement materials we created a breathable and traditionally skimmed render. We also re-beaded edges and levels.
This extension needed correct insulation boarding both on walls and the ceiling. Specialist build work was completed using new and original parts of the property materials including oak and stone.

For this room the Damp Bulldog team carried out stone repairs of the internal chimney stack as well as the floorboards. We installed architrave skirting boards, shelving and the fireplace hearth as well as electrical sockets.
